A full refurbishment touches everything — the wiring, the heating, the floors, the joinery, the bathrooms and the decoration — which is why it goes wrong so often when it's split across firms that don't talk to each other. On period and listed homes there's an added layer: the work has to respect the building and, where it's listed, meet the consents that go with it.
We carry out full ground and first-floor refurbishments: rewires, new heating systems, bathroom refits, parquet and engineered oak flooring, Crittall-style doors and windows, and the sensitive making-good that listed building work demands. It's the work Harlequin has done on high-end period homes around Tunbridge Wells for years.

Rewires, new heating systems, replumbing and the first-fix work that a refurbishment depends on are handled in-house or by the established tradesmen we build with — sequenced so the walls and floors close up over work that's been done properly and tested.
Period and listed work, done sensitively
On listed and period homes we work to preserve what should be kept and match what has to be replaced — parquet and engineered oak flooring, Crittall-style glazing and traditional finishes — with an eye on the consents and the character of the building.
